Ricci began her career as a young child actress in her role as Wednesday Addams and Addams Family Values (both 1993) in The Addams Family and as Kat Harvey, in Casper. Ricci moved into roles that were more suited to adults with The Ice Storm (1997), followed by an award-winning role in The Opposite of Sex 1998 and earned her the Golden Globe nominee for Best Actress. After Sleepy Hollow in 1999 and Monster 2003, Ricci continued to enjoy the success. Ricci appeared opposite Liam Neeson in Black Snake Moan (2007, Penelope 2008), Speed Racer (8), New York I Love You (9), and After.Life (2009).
